Using the same technology that brought us the buzzing Pokémon go, augmented reality (AR), the lens allows Snapchatters to try on, mix and match key products from their makeup collection.
The lens begins by placing a sleep mask over the user’s eyes, and then shifts to the Fluid De BeauteFini Natural, before continuing onto various other products such as Poudre De Beauté Éclat Soleil different mascara options and finally onto the lipstick, which comes in numerous different shades.
With these, users can experiment different combinations of products, and see what looks best on them.
The luxury beauty brand has truly outdone itself this time, utilizing modern technology for magnificent marketing campaigns to reach younger audiences where they dwell.
No doubt other brands will follow suite with Snapchat virtual try-on lenses continuing to increase in both popularity, quality and usability in fashion, beauty and beyond.
