Patina’s environmental demeanor spills over to the material palette also utilized all throughout the interiors with woods, linens, rattan, paper cord, and natural fibers in different muted colors cuddling gray stone flooring, whitewashed timber strips, and wooden slatted ceilings.
A Plethora of art pieces nourish the halls ranging from the expertly handcrafted with larger-than-life names among them the “Skyspace,” an artwork by world-renowned U.S. artist James Turrell. The structure’s outer areas illustrate the leafiness of the levitating palms.
Patina Maldives and Studio MK27 were very intricate dedicated to ensure that the resort is environmentally friendly.
Prior to laying the steppingstones, Patina Maldives pledged to never using single-use plasticson site – forcing construction workers to bring refillable bottles.
